
The year long Women on Wheels promotion that has been running since April 2005 has culminated in a Grand Draw, an Automotive Challenge and one lucky lady who is now a million dollars richer! Her name is Carol Curdell Simpson from May Pen in Clarendon and she is the winner of the NEM Women on Wheels Challenge. . Miss Simpson was drawn as one of three finalists who were to vie for the million dollar prize on the 20th of May at the Losushan parking lot.

The finalists tested their car care and insurance knowledge and even tested their aptitude at changing a tyre! At the end the judges (Alan Beckford- JAA, Alphonso Grennell-Grennell’s Driving School, Dorothea Ziadie-Motor Underwriting Manager at NEM, Lisa Bowman-Lee-Dover Female Champion Driver and Senior Superintendent Ealan Powell-Head of Police Traffic Division) tabulated the scores and announced Miss Simpson as the WOW Champion!

Traffic Division) tabulated the scores and announced Miss Simpson as the WOW Champion! The event was a fun filled day featuring entertainment from Judy Emmanuel and the gang from Kool FM. Miss Simpson was ecstatic upon hearing she had won and the other contestants were also delighted with their consolation prizes which included a trip for two to Miami with $1000 US spending money (second place) and Free Insurance for a year (third place)..
